The updated outline increases the contact surface with the water for improved acceleration and upwind ability, without adding resistance or weight. The subtle center V-shape and Edge Control Track system ensure stable handling at high speeds and reliable grip when edging.
The Triaxial 45° E-glass layup provides excellent heel-to-toe stiffness for strong pop, while maintaining longitudinal flex for soft, controlled landings. Double carbon stringers on the deck and base give the new Raptor an extra dose of responsiveness and power.
Step Cap Deck technology allows for thinner rails and better edging, improving upwind performance. The exclusive Nano Glide Skin bottom, featuring micro channels, enhances glide, increases speed, and offers improved scratch resistance. The new matte top sheet adds a sleek, premium look and feel.
The Raptor works equally well with pads and straps or wake bindings, making it one of the most versatile boards in the CrazyFly lineup.

Double Carbon Stringers
DYNAMIC FEEL - Double carbon stringers on the deck and bottom give the Raptor a much more dynamic feel. The load 'n' pop is unbelievable, while designers were able to keep flex at a very comfortable level.

Wood Core
Core is one of the most essential elements in every kiteboard. Therefore, designers choose only the finest selection wood cores for all CrazyFly kiteboards. To have precisely shaped cores of the highest quality, CrazyFly is using a CNC machine to cut the outline, drill holes, and give various 3D shapes on all cores.
Triaxial 45 Eglass
THREE TIMES STRONGER - The Triaxial 45 Eglass supports the board in three directions making it three times stronger. By strategic placement of this material, designers were able to achieve higher torsional stiffness without increasing stiffness along the length of the board. This results in a much more responsive, and overall stronger board with comfortable flex.
Edge Control Track
PRECISION TRACKING - The Edge Control Track on the bottom of the board provides excellent grip, better upwind and great tracking abilities of the board.
Nano Glide Skin
HIGHER SPEED. BETTER GRIP - In 2017, CrazyFly introduced Nano Glide Skin on the bottom of the Raptor and Raptor LTD boards and they are still the only brand to offer this innovative technology on kiteboards. The micro channels on the Nano Glide Skin foil help the board track and go upwind better. The foil has better gliding properties and generates speed quicker, plus it is more resistant to scratches.

Step Cap

Invisible Inserts
NO FUZZ DOWN LOW - Invisible inserts is an innovative feature that creates a beautiful united surface of the bottom of the board. Not only does this make the board look much better, but it also does not disrupt the flex pattern of the board and allows shapers to be more creative without limits. Inserts are only visible from the top for mounting pads and straps.
