Family SUP board with a windsurfing option
STX WS Hybrid Cruiser Family is an inflatable SUP board for paddlers who want to combine classic paddleboarding with the possibility of windsurfing. It works well on lakes, rivers and calm coastal waters, especially during family trips, recreational sessions and first attempts with a windsurfing sail.
The 33” width and 285 l volume provide the stability needed by beginner and intermediate users. The board gives you solid support under your feet, while still keeping a slightly sportier feel, so it is not limited only to slow paddling close to shore.
SUP and windsurfing in one board
The Hybrid Cruiser is equipped with the dedicated STX windsurfing deckplate, allowing you to attach a windsurfing rig. This means you can use the board as a classic SUP or add a sail and start learning the basics of windsurfing.
Two side fins improve upwind performance, which is especially important when using the board with a sail. They help reduce side drift and make it easier to hold your course, particularly for riders who are still learning how to control a board under wind power.
Stable cruiser shape for recreation and touring
The board shape is designed for stability, comfort and easy handling. It is a good choice for relaxed paddling, family sessions, exploring bays, lakes and rivers, and carrying extra gear for longer trips.
Cargo straps on the nose let you secure small items such as a dry bag, light backpack or essentials for a longer day on the water.
Reinforced construction and comfortable deck
The board is made from STX woven dropstitch materials, which help it stay stiff once inflated. The double side wall construction reinforces the rails and improves durability, which is important for regular family use.
The deck is covered with a two-tone, double-density pad with Honey and Gator grip zones. This improves traction and helps you recognise your ideal stance more easily, both when paddling and when using the board with a windsurfing sail.
Complete set ready for the water
The set includes a backpack, adjustable alloy paddle, pump, fin, STX leash and repair kit. The board also features a central carry handle, leash attachment and slide-in finbox with side fins, making setup simple and practical before your session.
