The fin is made from a composite of 70% nylon and 30% fibreglass – this composition provides a good balance between flexibility and strength. The package includes a permanently mounted screw, which allows for quick installation without the need for additional tools.

This model has a standard size of 9 inches and performs well in typical recreational paddling and on longer routes. It fits boards with a US Box rail and can be used interchangeably with other fins in this system.
