Men’s 5/3 mm wetsuit for cold water

Rip Curl Flashbomb Fusion 5/3 Zip Free is a men’s wetsuit designed for colder sessions, where strong insulation, sealing and mobility matter. The 5/3 mm thickness means a thicker layer of neoprene in the body for better thermal protection and thinner panels in the arms and legs to help maintain movement while paddling and riding.

This model is made for surfers who ride regularly in cold conditions and expect more than basic protection from the cold.

Fusion Dry Seam — no traditional stitching

The key feature of this model is Fusion Dry Seam technology. Instead of traditional stitching, the construction is designed to reduce water entry through the panel joins and improve thermal comfort.

Less water inside the wetsuit means slower heat loss, more stable warmth and better comfort during long sessions. This matters in cold water, during frequent duck dives, windy conditions and longer waits between sets.

Zip Free entry for upper-body mobility

The Zip Free system removes the classic zipper, allowing the wetsuit to work more freely around the shoulders, chest and back. This improves mobility in the upper body and reduces areas where water can usually enter.
