Package Character
This is a well-balanced setup built around versatility and easy progression. The JP-Australia X-Winger IPR gives you a stable platform, quick acceleration and easier take-offs. The NeilPryde Firefly delivers smooth power and intuitive handling, while the Glide Surf 75 HP adds good glide, quick lift generation and a more surf-oriented feel. The Dyneema wrist leash completes the package and keeps the wing under control when you let go with one hand or during falls.
Board - JP-Australia X-Winger IPR
The JP-Australia X-Winger IPR is a compact wing foil board with a very versatile character. It blends stability with dynamic handling, so it works equally well for learning, freeride cruising, jumps and tighter turns.
Its longer and narrower outline improves acceleration and helps you get up on foil earlier. The flat rocker in the nose supports quick take-off, even when you do not want to put a lot of effort into pumping. The reduced nose volume and narrower front section lower the swing weight, so the board feels more compact under your feet and reacts more naturally in the air.
The bottom shape and tail details also play an important role. The shallow concaves improve water flow and help the setup build speed smoothly. Tail cut-outs reduce drag, improve pumping efficiency and make tighter turns easier without catching the tail. Extra tail rocker helps keep the right flight angle and improves control when riding upwind or dealing with chop.
The IPR construction provides a solid and stable base for the foil. The tracks are set in full-depth PU blocks for a stronger connection, while the corduroy-style EVA deck pad gives you good grip and comfort during longer sessions.
Wing - NeilPryde Firefly
The NeilPryde Firefly is a wing that feels at home in freeride, first flights, simple wave riding and all-round sessions. One of its biggest strengths is the smooth, predictable power delivery, which makes it easier to understand how the wing works both during take-off and once you are flying.
It has a light and intuitive feel that helps beginners, while still offering enough control and response for riders who want to push a bit further. The refined canopy tension improves pumping response, supports acceleration and helps keep the pull steady in changing conditions.
A solid leading edge adds stability under load, while the ripstop panel layout helps the wing hold its shape. Integrated battens stabilize the trailing edge and reduce flutter. The Carbon Mono Handle gives direct, lightweight control without adding unnecessary complexity.
This is the kind of wing that does not fight back. It feels natural in your hands, delivers power smoothly and gives you plenty of room to progress from your first sessions into freeride and wave-oriented riding.
Foil - NeilPryde Glide Surf 75 HP
The NeilPryde Glide Surf 75 HP is a foil with a more surf-oriented feel, and it matches this wing foil setup very well if you want easy take-off, smooth flight and solid maneuverability. It builds lift quickly, accelerates smoothly and offers good glide, making it easier to stay flying and carry speed through weaker sections.
One of the key strengths of this foil is the balance between stability and agility. The shorter fuselage and 75 cm mast improve control in turns, make dynamic maneuvers easier and also work better in shallower spots. This gives the whole setup a more direct and playful feel under the board.
The Glide HP front wings feature a medium aspect ratio and a dihedral profile, which helps maintain lift even when the foil is leaned harder into a turn. On the water, that means a more natural carve, better speed retention and smoother exits from maneuvers.
In this version, the adapter is included, so you get a more complete foil package ready for mounting. Another advantage is the modular NeilPryde system, which makes it easier to expand or fine-tune your setup later with other compatible wings.
Leash - NeilPryde Dyneema Wing Wrist Leash
The setup also includes the NEILPRYDE Dyneema Wing Wrist Leash. It is a simple but important piece of equipment that improves both safety and convenience on the water. When you let go of the wing, you still keep it attached and under control, which matters during learning, resting, repositioning or climbing back onto the board.
Dyneema is known for high strength and low stretch, so this type of wrist leash fits well with the character of a modern wing foil setup.
Who Is This Setup For
This is a very solid choice for riders who want to get into wing foiling on gear that offers a good margin of control without becoming limiting too quickly. It works well for beginners taking their first steps, but also for intermediate and more advanced riders looking for a versatile setup for freeride, casual wave riding, skill progression and regular sessions in a wide range of conditions.
The biggest advantage of this package is how well the components work together. The board helps you take off early and stay in control, the wing feels smooth and intuitive, and the foil offers a strong mix of glide, lift and maneuverability. Instead of being narrowly specialized, this is a setup that gives you freedom to build your own riding style.
Features

SLIGHTLY CONCAVE DECK SHAPE
The concave shape in the standing area provides a more direct feeling and enhances control in the air

EXTRA TAIL ROCKER
In flight, the extra tail rocker raises the nose resulting in a better flight position of the board

LARGE TAIL CUT-OUTS
The reduced tail area makes pumping easier and accelerates take-off by minimizing drag

MAXIMUM PLANING SURFACE
Sharp rails increase the planing surface and thus simplify the take-off

GRADUATED RIPSTOP
The canopy features Ripstop 5x5 in the front and Ripstop 6x6 in the back for the optimum balance of strength to weight. Transverse paneling holds shape under load and reduces stretch over time

PVC WINDOWS
Fly IV and FireFly feature PVC for maximum visibility and durability. Carefully integrated into the panel layout, the PVC panels deliver unmatched visibility and durability, letting you stay aware of your surroundings while pushing your limits on the water

INTEGRATED BATTEN DESIGN
Sewn-in composite battens create a flat, fast trailing edge with minimum flutter

HIGH TENSION CANOPY
The 3D shape of the canopy leading edge is defined by a series of transverse panels that converge at the wingtips. This leverages the LE Tube structure to maximize tension in the critical entry sections – the result is more lift and a higher stall angle for better acceleration in light winds, and the ability to fly efficiently at low angles of attack for better control and higher top speeds in strong winds.
