Pure is aimed at riders who want a very direct feel: quick input response, immediate forward drive, and stable control when the wind gets stronger and more gusty. The compact outline helps with rotations and tighter maneuvers, while a well-balanced tension layout keeps the canopy calm and predictable instead of “breathing” in gusts. It makes the most sense if you ride fast, load the foil aggressively, and expect the wing to stay composed at speed.
Shape and feel: stiffness and instant response
The rigid structure and efficient profile are tuned for a crisp ride: quick acceleration, steady pull, and confident handling when you’re pushing against the wing through turns or take-offs. Pure is also designed to stay neutral during maneuvers - useful for freestyle transitions, direction changes, or when you want the wing to drift without disturbing your line.
2026 update: smoother leading edge tips
For 2026, the Pure keeps its proven Ultra 80X structure, with one key refinement: the leading edge tips now use ForceTec Dacron. This adds stiffness where needed while making the tips smoother and more comfortable to handle, especially during landings and technical maneuvers. The goal is improved handling without losing the Pure’s signature rigidity and performance.
Construction, canopy, and durability
BAT Panel Layout supports a clean, well-defined profile with minimal distortion and efficient load distribution. VoltNova (triple ripstop) and VoltNova+ (double ripstop) canopy materials help maintain long-term stability and resist stretch over time. Additional leading edge reinforcements (Kevlar/Dacron) are there for riders who ride hard and put more stress on the wing through crashes, landings, and powered sessions.
Boom, tuning, and visibility
Pure is designed around a 2-part pistol grip carbon boom for direct control and travel convenience. Two separate air cells (leading edge and center strut) inflated via two SUP-style valves let you tune pressure to your preference. Windows along the center strut improve visibility on the water.

- VoltNova spinnaker - Cutting-edge VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker supplied by Teijin in the front and center section of the Pure perfectly combines lightness, robustness and neutralizes stretch, which optimizes load distribution over a long period.
- VoltNova+ trailing edge - VoltNova + double ripstop supplied by Dimension Polyant is significantly stiffer, more durable and robust. This innovative material is perfectly suited to stabilize the Pure’s trailing edge and enhance the wing’s overall longevity and also lightness
- Balanced tension profile - Perfectly balanced tension between the leading and trailing edge leads to optimized profile stability and easier handling
- Separate air cells - The leading edge and strut are in- and deflated through two separate SUP valves, which allows you to tune your Pure wing with individual pressures
