Who it’s for and riding style
This model is for riders who like higher speed, more aggressive maneuvers, and a more technical riding style. The Poison stays predictable when you load the foil through a turn, switch tacks quickly, or sheet out on a wave and want the wing to drift calmly and neutrally. If you mainly cruise and want maximum forgiveness, the Cross is the more all-round option - Poison is clearly more performance-driven.
2026 updates: fuller center profile
For 2026, the shape was updated with more profile through the center section. A fuller mid-section increases lift, stabilizes the center of effort, and gives a more solid feel without losing maneuverability. In practice: better control when jumping, stronger drive through tight turns, and a more balanced, predictable ride when you’re going fast or carving hard on a wave.
Boom and wing feel
The Poison 2026 is built around a separable pistol grip carbon boom. You get a direct feel and stiffness close to a one-piece boom, with easier transport and travel convenience. In wave and freestyle riding, this is especially noticeable during quick hand changes and more dynamic pumping.
Construction, canopy, and durability
The BAT Panel Layout is designed for efficient load distribution, dimensional stability, and consistent profile definition. Materials include ForceTec Dacron in the frame (leading edge and strut), VoltNova triple ripstop in the front and center canopy sections, and VoltNova+ double ripstop on the trailing edge. Strategic Kevlar reinforcements protect key areas - useful when your wing takes more abuse from landings, crashes, and harder use in stronger wind.
Tuning and visibility
Two separate air cells (leading edge and strut) inflated via two SUP-style valves let you tune the pressure to your preference: stiffer for a more direct response, or slightly softer for a more forgiving feel. Windows along the strut improve visibility and situational awareness on the water.
