A versatile mast for the GA Hybrid system
The GA-Foils Alu V2 Hybrid Foil Mast has been designed as part of GA’s modular foil platform. In practice, that means you can combine it with different components and adapt the full setup more easily to your conditions, board type, and riding style. The mast works in both wing foil and windsurf foil configurations, so it makes a lot of sense for riders who want to build one versatile setup or develop it step by step over time.
Aluminum construction - durability and solid stiffness
The mast is made from high-quality aluminum, which gives it a good balance of durability, stiffness, and price. On the water, this kind of construction offers a solid and reliable feel, while also standing up well to regular use. It is a sensible option for riders who want a durable mast without moving into the higher budget of a full carbon setup.
Connection to the fuselage and the board
The mast connects to the fuselage using 3 M6 bolts in 30 mm length. This system provides a strong and precise connection, which is important for the overall stiffness of the foil and for predictable handling on the water.
On the board side, the GA-Foils Alu V2 Hybrid uses an adapter system. Depending on your board box, you can use a Deep Tuttle, Power Box, or US Double Box / Dual Track adapter, which is the most common standard on wing foil boards. Adapters are not included and need to be purchased separately depending on your board.
Available mast lengths
The GA Hybrid Alu V2 is available in several lengths, making it easier to choose the right version for your skill level and local conditions.
45 cm - a good option for learning and shallower spots
65 cm - ideal for early progression and more relaxed riding
75 cm - the most versatile length for mixed conditions
85 cm - for riders looking for more clearance, better control in rougher water, and a more performance-oriented feel
Shorter masts make learning easier and give you more control in the early stages, while longer masts work better once you are riding more confidently and want to unlock more of the foil’s potential.
Compatibility
This mast has been developed for the GA Hybrid Foil system and works with both wing foil and windsurf foil setups. Thanks to the modular design, it can be paired with different fuselages, front wings, and rear wings within the Hybrid range, making future upgrades or setup changes much easier without replacing the whole foil.
