What the Duotone Stash is built for
The second-generation Stash further refines Duotone’s lightweight parawing concept for downwind and foil gliding. Its single-skin construction keeps weight low and simplifies the overall structure, resulting in predictable pull, stable flight characteristics and a wide usable wind range - without overcomplicating handling on the water.
Stability and control in variable wind
For this generation, Duotone redesigned and stabilized the leading edge while fine-tuning profile thickness and angle of attack. The result is a more stable, open arc and smoother depower response. The wing holds its shape better in gusts and feels more balanced when adjusting your riding angle.
Improved upwind efficiency and wind range
A new aspect ratio and refined arc geometry enhance upwind angles and overall aerodynamic efficiency. In practice, this means better drive on upwind legs and more effective use of available wind power across a broader range of conditions.
Handle and bridle system
The newly developed ergonomic handle allows you to slide your front hand under the A-lines, improving comfort and power distribution during longer runs. All line connections are fully integrated into the handle, including a harness line option. This keeps the setup clean and reduces the risk of tangles when packing or preparing for re-launch.
The upgraded sheathed bridle lines are less prone to twisting and tangling, while their optimized length makes it easy to pull the wing in across the full size range (2.2–5.6 m²).
Lightweight canopy construction
The 30 g ripstop canopy remains a key element of the Stash concept. Its low weight helps the wing stay airborne in lighter winds and allows it to pack down into a very compact size.
Color coding and easy set-up
A three-way color coding system - main canopy and leading edge panels, plus the A/B/C bridle rows - simplifies sorting lines, organizing the wing on the beach and preparing for launch or re-launch.
