Dakine Chameleon Harness - 2-in-1 windsurfing harness

Dakine Chameleon Harness is designed for riders who want the flexibility of both seat and waist harness configurations. The seat section attaches at the back with Velcro and can be fully removed, so you can choose the setup that feels best for your riding style, skill level and conditions.

In the windsurf version, the Chameleon comes with a windsurf-specific Push Button spreader bar. It is a practical choice for learning, freeride sessions and recreational windsurfing, especially if you are still deciding which harness type suits you better.

Stable back support and riding comfort

The harness uses a pre-curved P.E.B. inner support structure to help support the back while riding hooked in. This is useful when the pull from the sail is constantly transferred through the harness during longer reaches or stronger wind sessions.

A Featherweight ES foam molded lumbar pad improves comfort around the lower back and helps spread pressure more evenly. This makes the Chameleon a good option for riders who want supportive construction without moving straight into a fully rigid harness.

One harness for different stages of progression

The seat configuration gives a lower hook position and stable hold, which can help during learning and when sailing powered. Once the removable seat section is taken off, the harness works as a waist harness, offering more freedom of movement.

An integrated handle and leash attachment, plus left and right side leash attachment rings, give you flexible setup options. The Single Overlap Power Belt makes the harness easy to tighten and helps keep it stable on the body.
