Connect the charger to a USB-C port or wall socket using a USB adapter. The charger's LED ring will light up green when the WOO 4.0 is ready to charge. You can now insert the WOO 4.0 into the wireless charger. The orientation of the WOO does not matter. Shortly after inserting the WOO 4.0, the LED ring of the wireless charger will turn blue to indicate that charging is in progress. The device will turn on and begin to flash a blue light, also indicating that it is charging.
It is also important to note that the WOO 4.0 charger requires 1 amp at 5 volts, so many USB-C cables may not provide enough power, especially when powered from a USB-A port.
When the WOO 4.0 reaches a certain charge level, and it has been stored and left untouched for more than 15 days, it automatically enters AUTO SHELF mode. This helps the WOO 4.0 maintain its battery charge as best as possible, ensuring that when the WOO device wakes up in the spring or after a long winter, the battery will be charged. Most importantly, this prevents the WOO 4.0 battery from remaining discharged for long periods of time, which is not good for the WOO 4.0's lithium polymer battery.
