Air Screw Vent - Phillips Head With O-Ring
The Air Screw Vent - Phillips Head With O-Ring is a vent screw for composite boards, equipped with a Phillips head and an O-ring seal. It can be used as a replacement for a lost or damaged vent screw or kept as a spare part for trips.
The vent opening allows pressure to equalize between the inside of the board and the surrounding environment. The included O-ring seals the opening when the screw is properly tightened, helping prevent water from entering the board. The Phillips head allows the screw to be opened and closed using a suitable screwdriver or bit.
Compatibility and use
Before purchasing, check that the thread and dimensions match the vent fitting in your board. Follow the board manufacturer’s instructions regarding when the vent should be opened or closed. Before entering the water, make sure the screw is properly tightened and check that the O-ring is clean and in good condition.
