Lightweight Carbon Elite construction
The Unifiber Carbon V2 Inside Tail +60 Slim - Elite is made from high-grade pre-preg carbon and designed to deliver maximum stiffness at minimal weight.
The high-performance lay-up provides direct load transfer and precise sail feedback, maintaining the responsive feel expected from the Carbon Elite range.
Compact profile for wave and foil racing
The inner boom tail width is 15.5 cm. This provides sufficient sail clearance while maintaining a compact and controlled feel.
The geometry is particularly well suited to wave sailing and foil racing in stronger winds, where quick rig response, control through transitions and a stable connection to the sail are important.
Pulley outhaul system
The boom tail features an integrated pulley system at the clew.
It allows smooth and precise outhaul adjustment, making it easier to fine-tune sail tension as wind strength and sailing conditions change.
Inside Tail construction
The Inside Tail design means the boom tail slides inside the compatible boom body.
The tube diameter is 20 mm. The slim construction helps keep weight low at the rear of the boom while maintaining the stiffness required from the Elite range.
Configure Me
The Carbon V2 Inside Tail +60 Slim - Elite is part of the Unifiber Configure Me modular boom system. Individual compatible components can be replaced, renewed or upgraded without replacing the complete boom.
The boom tail is compatible with the Carbon Elite Monocoque V2 140-200 Slim Inside Wide Tail boom.
Secure adjustment
The adjustment range is +60 cm.
Length adjustment is secured by Double Pin Locks mounted on the boom body. The twin-pin system keeps the boom tail firmly locked at the selected position and helps minimise unwanted movement under load.
