Carbon tail for demanding sailing
The Unifiber HD Carbon V2 Inside Wide Tail +60 uses an HD 70% pre-preg carbon lay-up, providing a balanced combination of stiffness, durability and resistance to regular loading.
The reinforced construction helps maintain consistent load distribution when sailing powered up and reduces unwanted flex through the rear section of the boom.
Inside Wide Tail
The tail has an inner width of 15.5 cm. This provides additional clearance for the sail profile while maintaining a relatively compact and controlled feel.
The shape is well suited to freeride, bump & jump and wave sailing, where riders need a combination of stiffness, control and enough space around the sail profile.
Pulley outhaul system
All Carbon HD Monocoque V2 boom tails are equipped with a pulley outhaul system.
It allows smooth and precise outhaul adjustment, making it easier to trim the sail accurately and adapt its setup to changing conditions.
Configure Me
The HD Carbon V2 Inside Wide Tail +60 is part of the Unifiber Configure Me modular boom system. Individual compatible components can be replaced, renewed or upgraded without replacing the complete boom.
The tail can therefore be used as a replacement part or as an upgrade for a compatible Carbon HD or Carbon Elite setup.

Secure adjustment
The tail tube diameter is 21 mm.
Length adjustment is secured by Double Pin Locks mounted on the boom body. The twin-pin system keeps the tail firmly locked at the selected position and helps minimise unwanted movement under load.
