Elite carbon boom body 160
The Unifiber Elite Carbon V2 Body 160 is a lightweight and very stiff boom body designed for building a complete setup within the Unifiber Configure Me system.
The body is made from 100% high-grade pre-preg carbon. This construction reduces arm flex under load and provides direct power transfer between rider and sail.
Slim 26 x 27 mm grip
The body features an oval 26 x 27 mm grip.
The extended thinner grip section helps keep your hands clear of the wider rear section of the body when gybing. This makes it easier to move your hands quickly across the boom and improves comfort during dynamic sailing.
100% pre-preg carbon
The full-carbon construction is focused on high stiffness and low weight.
Reduced boom flex helps the sail maintain a stable profile during strong gusts, acceleration and high-speed sailing. This gives the rig a more direct and predictable feel.
Monocoque Boom Body
The body uses monocoque construction with continuous boom arms and 2 mm tube walls.
This improves load distribution and provides high stiffness at an operating weight of just 1.46 kg.
C-shape
The C-shape geometry provides a compact boom outline suited to smaller and medium-sized windsurfing setups.
Combined with the slim grip, it gives the boom a direct and controlled feel in the hands.
High-density EVA
High-density EVA is used on the front arch.
This area is particularly exposed to abrasion during regular use, so the more durable grip material helps improve long-term wear resistance.
Only compatible with Modular Boom Head
The Elite Carbon V2 Body 160 is compatible exclusively with the Unifiber Modular Boom Head.
The boom head can be fitted and removed without tools, making it quick to transfer between compatible Configure Me boom bodies.
Configure Me
The body is part of the Unifiber Configure Me modular system.
The boom head, body and tail can be selected and replaced separately. This allows one boom head to be used with several bodies, individual worn components to be replaced, and the setup to be adapted to different sails.
It also helps reduce the amount of equipment needed for storage and travel.
