Elite carbon boom body
The Unifiber Elite Carbon V2 Body 140 Slim is a standalone boom body designed for use within the Unifiber Configure Me modular system.
It is made from 100% high-grade pre-preg carbon. The combination of low weight and high stiffness provides direct load transfer and helps minimise boom arm flex under pressure. This supports a stable sail profile and precise rig feedback during powered-up sailing.
25 mm Slim grip
The key feature of the 140 Slim version is its ultra-narrow 25 mm grip.
The reduced diameter makes it easier to wrap your hand around the boom and can help reduce forearm fatigue during long or demanding wave and bump & jump sessions.
The boom body uses a C-shape and 2 mm tube walls.
Monocoque Boom Body
The body uses monocoque construction, with a continuous structure designed to improve load distribution and maintain high stiffness at a low weight.
At just 1.18 kg, the body provides a lightweight base for a high-performance boom setup.
High stiffness helps reduce unwanted boom deformation under load, supporting the intended sail profile during strong gusts, acceleration and sailing through chop.
Ergonomic grip and durable EVA
The slim grip is shaped for a natural and secure hold.
High-density EVA is used on the front arch, where abrasion is typically highest during regular use. This improves wear resistance and helps extend the life of the grip.
Configure Me modular system
The Elite Carbon V2 Body 140 Slim is part of the Unifiber Configure Me system.
The modular design allows compatible boom heads, bodies and tails to be combined as needed. This makes it possible to replace a worn component without replacing the complete boom, or to use one boom head with several different boom bodies.
It is also practical for travel and storage, where reducing the number of complete booms can save space and baggage weight.
Only compatible with Modular Boom Head
This boom body is compatible only with the Unifiber Modular Boom Head.
The boom head can be swapped between compatible Configure Me bodies without tools, making changes quick and straightforward.
Double Pin Locks
The boom tail locking system is mounted on the boom body and uses Double Pin Locks.
The twin-pin system securely holds a compatible boom tail at the selected length and helps minimise unwanted movement at the connection.
