Narrower tail for wave and bump & jump sails
The Unifiber HD Alloy Inside Tail +50 is designed for the more compact sail profiles commonly used in wave and bump & jump sailing.
The inner tail width is 12 cm. This narrower shape works well with smaller, more compact sails that do not require the additional clearance of wide freerace or slalom boom tails.
Anodised 6061-T8 aluminium
The tail is made from tempered 6061-T8 aluminium. Its anodised finish improves corrosion resistance and durability during regular use, particularly in salt water.
The tail tube diameter is 22.5 mm and the complete component weighs 0.53 kg.
0-50 cm adjustment range
The 0-50 cm adjustment range allows the boom length to be matched to different sail sizes.
The tail works with Double Pin Locks mounted on the compatible boom body. The twin pins securely hold the selected length and help minimise unwanted movement under load.
Loop & Go
The Loop & Go system allows quick and straightforward outhaul attachment. Its simple construction speeds up rigging and works particularly well in setups where an adjustable outhaul pulley system is not required.
Configure Me
The HD Alloy Inside Tail +50 is part of the Unifiber Configure Me modular system. Compatible boom heads, bodies and tails can be combined or replaced individually without changing the complete boom.
This allows you to replace a worn component, change the boom configuration or adapt your setup to a different type of sail.
