Modular tail for Essentials booms
The Unifiber Essentials Alloy Inside Tail +50 is designed for use with Unifiber Configure Me Modular Essentials boom bodies. The modular construction allows the tail to be replaced separately or used to build a different boom configuration without replacing the complete boom.
It is a practical option for replacing a worn component, changing the adjustment range or expanding an existing modular setup.
T8 aluminium construction
The tail is made from T8 aluminium, providing a good balance of stiffness, durability and weight.
The tube diameter is 25.7 mm and the complete tail weighs 0.53 kg. This keeps the construction in line with the Essentials range - functional, durable and suitable for regular use.
0-50 cm adjustment range
The tail provides 0-50 cm of adjustment, allowing the boom length to be matched to different sail sizes.
Length adjustment is secured by Double Pin Locks mounted on the boom body. The twin-pin system keeps the tail firmly locked at the selected position.
Loop & Go
The Loop & Go system makes outhaul attachment quick and straightforward, helping speed up rigging without adding unnecessary complexity.
The 12 cm inner tail width provides suitable clearance for the sail profile in compatible Essentials boom configurations.
Configure Me modular system
The tail is part of the Unifiber Configure Me system, which allows compatible boom heads, bodies and tails to be combined according to the rider's needs.
This makes it possible to replace or upgrade individual components instead of changing the complete boom when only one part is worn or when a different setup is required.
