Fast and intuitive setup
The Unifiber Ergo Boom Head Elite uses a classic single-hinge closing mechanism. It is a familiar and straightforward solution that makes attaching the boom quick and easy, whether you are rigging on the beach or adjusting your setup during a session.
Compared with the Modular Boom Head, the Ergo prioritises ease of use and quick setup over maximum stiffness.
For RDM and SDM masts
RDM and SDM adapters are included. They provide the correct fit for each mast diameter and help reduce point-load pressure on the mast surface.
This allows one boom head to be used with both mast standards without the need for additional adapters.
3.8 mm Dyneema rope
The Elite version is supplied with a 3.8 mm Dyneema rope. It combines high strength with low weight and a relatively small diameter, matching the performance-oriented character of the Elite range.
Lighter construction
The Ergo Boom Head is around 20% lighter than the previous generation. At approximately 284 g, it helps keep the overall boom weight down.
Compatible with Unifiber boom bodies
The head is fully compatible with Unifiber Essentials, HD and Elite boom bodies. It can be used as a replacement part or selected as the boom head when ordering a new Unifiber boom.
If maximum stiffness and the most direct power transfer are your main priorities, the Modular Boom Head is the better option.
