Traction pad for high-performance surfing
The ROAM 3 Piece+ Tail Pad offers the most aggressive support and grip in the ROAM pad range. It is designed for short performance boards and more demanding waves where precise rear-foot control is essential.
It is best suited to advanced surfers who apply strong pressure through the tail, make fast directional changes and need their rear foot to remain securely positioned during dynamic manoeuvres.
Maximum rear-foot hold
The Double Diamond Groove texture provides strong multidirectional traction. It helps keep the foot in place during tight pocket turns, hard pressure through the tail and aerial manoeuvres.
This pad provides a more locked-in feel than the lower-profile ROAM models. It is intended for surfers who prefer a clearly defined rear-foot position rather than frequent and unrestricted foot adjustment.
High 7.5 mm arch
The 7.5 mm central arch supports the middle of the foot and makes it easier to locate the correct stance without looking down. Its higher profile helps stabilise the foot during fast movements and strong pressure through the rails.
30 mm kick tail
The 30 mm kick creates a pronounced support point for the heel. It allows you to push harder through the tail during vertical turns, quick direction changes in the pocket and take-offs into aerial manoeuvres.
Designed for performance boards
The three-piece construction allows the panel spacing to be adjusted during installation. The pad works best on short performance surfboards where the rear foot is positioned close to the end of the tail.
Reliable attachment
The pad is made from EVA foam and fitted with a 3M adhesive backing. It provides secure and durable attachment when applied to a properly cleaned and degreased board deck.
