Traction pad for wide-tailed and fish boards
The ROAM 2 Piece Tail Pad is designed for boards with wider tails, including many fish shapes. Its two-piece construction allows you to adjust the panel spacing to suit the width and outline of the tail.
The pad works particularly well on looser, skatey boards where you regularly reposition your rear foot. It is a practical choice for a more front-footed surfing style, where speed is generated by placing more pressure over the front of the board.
Easy foot repositioning
The flat construction has no central arch, so it does not lock your foot into one position. Square grooving provides reliable traction while allowing the rear foot to slide and reposition easily across the deck.
This setup is well suited to less aggressive surfing on fish and skatey boards. When you lean into a turn and apply more pressure through the tail, the pad still provides plenty of grip and support.
Low-profile kick
The 20 mm kick is the lowest kick-tail option used in the ROAM pad range. It provides a noticeable support point for the rear foot without restricting movement across the deck.
Reliable attachment
The pad is made from EVA foam and fitted with a 3M adhesive backing. It provides secure and durable attachment when applied to a properly cleaned and degreased board deck.
