Twin + 1 for high-speed surfing
Alpha Reverse 3/2 Twin + 1 is designed to unlock the full potential of twin-fin boards.
The set is focused on speed, drive and strong rail engagement. The two main fins provide the dynamic twin-fin feel, while the smaller center fin completes the Twin + 1 configuration.
Vector Foil
Vector is Futures’ proprietary foil featuring a concave surface on the inside of the front fins.
This increases surface area and water attachment while enhancing lift. The result is a Speed Generating character with a more locked-in and engaged feel.
Reverse 3/2
Reverse 3/2 introduces twist through the upper third of the fin.
Cant starts at 4° at the base and transitions to 7° at the tip, creating a looser feel higher in the fin. Toe follows the fin box placement at the base and transitions to 2° less toe at the tip, helping the fin stay tighter and more engaged.
This creates two distinct foil surfaces, one at the base and one at the tip, both using Futures’ Vector foil.
Speed Generating performance
Vector Reverse 3/2 maximizes water attachment across multiple planing surfaces, creating lift and hold.
The foil stays engaged as the rider progresses through turns, helping generate speed on exit. Futures describes the result as a combination of strong drive, speed and grip.
Scimitar Tip
The Scimitar Tip is a flattened section at the trailing end of the fin.
By reducing the effective template length, it helps tighten the turning arc while improving release out of the turn. It complements the lift and speed characteristics of the Reverse 3/2 foil.
Alpha Construction
The set uses Alpha construction.
Made in Huntington Beach, it combines Bureo NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures Compound 6 (C6) Carbon and air-infused technology.
According to the manufacturer, the set is suitable for all wave types and conditions.
