Fiberwood construction
SkimOne Fiberwood 41 Inch combines wood with fiberglass laminate. The core is made from 5 layers of poplar wood, the top layer uses bamboo strips, and the bottom is built with Fiberglass Cloth and Polyester Resin.
This construction provides significantly more buoyancy than conventional wooden skimboards. The advantage is noticeable both while gliding and when riding into the wave.
Longer glide
According to the manufacturer, the Fiberwood construction allows the board to glide noticeably longer than most conventional skimboards.
This helps maintain speed for longer and gives the rider more time to continue the ride and link maneuvers.
Accentuated tail and agile handling
