Calf leash for larger surfboards
The ROAM Premium Calf Leash 7 mm 9' is designed for surfers who prefer to wear the leash above the ankle. The calf cuff helps keep the cord further away from your feet, which can be particularly useful when surfing larger boards.
At 9' long, the leash is best suited to boards of a similar length, while the 7 mm urethane cord provides a practical balance of strength and flexibility for regular surfing.
7 mm urethane cord
The leash uses a high-quality 7 mm, or 9/32", urethane cord. This diameter provides reliable strength without making the leash unnecessarily stiff.
Moulded cord ends reinforce the connection points, which are exposed to particularly high loads during wipeouts.
Double stainless steel swivels
Two stainless steel swivels allow the cord to rotate more freely as the board moves. This helps reduce twisting and tangling both while surfing and after a wipeout.
Wide neoprene calf cuff
The 2.5" cuff is made from neoprene and finished with a soft Lycra binding. Its wider surface distributes pressure across the calf, improving comfort during longer sessions.
A Quick Release Pull Tab makes the fastening easy to locate and allows the cuff to be opened quickly after leaving the water.
Triple-closure rail saver
The 1.25" rail saver uses a triple-locking closure for a secure connection to the board. Its wider construction also helps distribute loads around the tail area when the leash is pulled hard.
Woven size label
A woven size label makes it easy to identify the leash length, which is particularly useful if you use different leashes with several boards.
