The characteristic sharpened shape of the bow significantly improves "cutting through" the water, which will allow you to gain speed easily. Pure Tourer has a special edge on the underside of the stern to help release water from underneath the board - so the SUP glides smoothly and stays in the glide longer. A built-in kick-pad (small step at the back of the deck) will make it easier to make smooth pivot type turns. Double luggage area (elastic ropes at the front and back) makes it the perfect companion for longer trips when you need to take more gear with you. The EVA foam on the deck gives you a feeling of safety, protecting you from slipping and falling. In addition to its anti-slip properties (Core Grip), the footpad is pleasant to the touch (Honey Grip), preventing possible abrasions.
The Pure Series has a reduced SUP height to 5'' (standard is 6''), which allows the to feel board better underfoot. This makes your SUP less susceptible to side winds and waves hitting the sides.
