Family SUP board with windsurfing option
The STX WS Hybrid Cruiser Family is an inflatable SUP board for paddlers who want to combine classic paddleboarding with the option of using a windsurfing sail. It works well on lakes, rivers and calm coastal waters, especially during family trips, recreational paddling and first windsurfing sessions.
The 33” width and 285 l volume provide the stability needed by beginner and intermediate users. The board gives you solid support underfoot while still keeping a sporty feel, so it is not limited only to slow cruising close to the shore.
SUP and windsurfing in one board
The Hybrid Cruiser is equipped with a dedicated STX windsurfing deckplate, which allows you to mount a windsurfing rig. This means you can use the board as a classic SUP or attach a sail and start learning the basics of windsurfing.
Two side fins improve upwind performance, which is especially important when windsurfing. They help reduce side drift and make it easier to stay on course, particularly for users who are just learning how to control a board with a sail.
Stable shape for recreation, touring and paddling with a kayak seat
The board shape is designed for stability, comfort and easy handling. It is a good choice for relaxed touring, family paddling, exploring bays, lakes and rivers, and carrying extra gear.
The deck is equipped with 4 D-rings for attaching a kayak seat. This allows you to paddle comfortably in a seated position, which is useful during longer trips, recreational paddling or calm sessions with a child on board.
Elastic bungee cords on the nose let you carry small gear. You can secure a dry bag, light bag or essentials needed for longer paddling sessions.
