The Loftsails Raceboardblade 9.5 High Wind set has been designed for competitive racing in the Raceboard class in winds above 16 knots. This configuration is aimed at racers and ambitious riders who demand high stability, precise power control, and maximum efficiency in stronger wind conditions.
Loftsails Raceboardblade 9.5 High Wind sail
The Raceboardblade 9.5 HW sail has been developed in close cooperation with top-level raceboard riders such as Joao Rodrigues, Patrik Pollak, and Curro Manchon, under the guidance of Monty Spindler. Continuous development driven by direct collaboration between riders and designers translates into proven race performance.
The High Wind version has been specifically designed for stronger wind ranges. Inspired by the lightweight and durable LW version, the panel layout has been optimized and the profile precisely tuned around a 7-batten framework with 3 camber inducers. The result is a sail that delivers impressive speed and excellent stability in winds exceeding 16 knots. High trim sensitivity and fast response make it a highly effective tool in demanding race conditions.
Loftsails Team Edition III 100C mast
The set is equipped with a Loftsails Team Edition III mast, 520 cm in length and made from 100% carbon. It is the lightest and most dynamic mast in the Loftsails range, designed to deliver maximum performance with minimal weight.
Built using high-quality T700 and T800 carbon fibers and pre-preg construction technology, the mast offers exceptional strength, increased impact resistance, and extremely fast reaction speed. The mast is precisely matched to the characteristics of the Raceboardblade 9.5 HW sail, ensuring a stable profile, effective damping, and consistent trim settings in stronger wind conditions.
Unifiber Modular Carbon Elite boom
The setup is completed with the Unifiber Modular Carbon Elite Monocoque V2 – Outside Wide Tail carbon boom, manufactured from premium pre-preg carbon fiber. This boom is designed for large sails and targets professional riders and ambitious amateurs seeking maximum stiffness at the lowest possible weight.
The boom features a pulley-equipped tail that allows smooth and precise outhaul adjustment under load. The Elite modular boom head ensures a stiff, direct connection and is compatible with both SDM and RDM masts.
