Designed for younger riders
The Unifiber Aluminium Junior is made for kids and junior windsurfers who are progressing their sailing skills. Its reduced 26 mm grip diameter is easier to hold with smaller hands, helping younger riders maintain better control of the rig while sailing.
The boom arms are made from T8 Aluminium, with a 1.4 mm tube wall thickness. Both sizes use a Regular Shape and a separate boom arm construction.
Solid boom head connection
The boom head is mounted with screws directly onto the boom arms, creating a solid connection. It has no axial movement and is designed for RDM masts. The mast ferrule is integrated into the construction.
The manufacturer notes that excessive boom-to-clew angles can generate additional stress around the solid boom head area.
Tail adjustment
Boom length is adjusted with the Double Pin Locks system, with the locking mechanism mounted on the boom body. This allows the boom to be set to the required length within the adjustment range of each version.
The Unifiber Aluminium Junior Boom is available in two sizes:
110-150 cm - maximum boom body inner width 33 cm, tail inner width 9 cm, operating weight 1.7 kg
140-190 cm - maximum boom body inner width 36 cm, tail inner width 9 cm
Both versions feature a 26 mm grip diameter, 1.4 mm tube wall thickness and RDM mast compatibility.
