Lower baseplate part for windsurfing boards
NeilPryde X-Base Plate is the base unit mounted directly in the mast track of a windsurfing board. It works as the lower part of the NeilPryde X-Base system and creates a stable connection point for the removable upper baseplate unit. It is a practical spare part or an additional base for a second board if you use a compatible NeilPryde X-Base setup.
Secure mast track connection
The plate uses a dual T-nut connection, which improves stability and helps prevent the base from slipping while sailing. Compared with a single-point mounting system, this gives a more secure connection, especially under higher rig loads or when you often adjust the base position.
Low profile for easier transport
The low-profile design reduces the number of protruding parts left on the deck. After removing the upper unit, you can leave the base plate in the mast track, making it easier to pack the board into a boardbag and reducing the risk of catching the cover or other gear.
Practical for frequent sessions
X-Base Plate is useful if you sail often and do not want to remove the entire baseplate after every session. You can leave the plate on the board and take the removable upper unit separately for cleaning, transport or storage. This saves time during setup and reduces wear on mounting parts.
