Low-profile MXT windsurfing baseplate

NeilPryde X-BASE MXT is a windsurfing baseplate designed for simple setup, secure mast-track connection and easier transport. Thanks to the removable tendon & MXT unit, you do not need to remove the entire baseplate from the board after every session. This is practical if you sail often, carry your board in a boardbag or want to prepare your setup faster before the next session.

Dual T-nut connection

Two T-nut screws provide a solid connection with the mast track and reduce the risk of the baseplate slipping while sailing. This setup also allows precise adjustment of the baseplate position on the board, which matters when fine-tuning your rig placement for wind conditions, sail size and riding style.

Removable tendon & MXT unit

The upper tendon unit can be detached quickly from the base. This makes cleaning, transport and boardbag packing easier. Fewer protruding parts mean less risk of catching the boardbag or damaging other gear during transport.

Ultra-low profile and Close the Gap setup

The ultra-low profile minimizes the gap between the sail and the board. In practice, it helps keep the rig closer to the deck and supports the Close the Gap setup, which can improve control and give the whole setup a more direct feel. The lower design also saves space when packing your gear.
