ATEC F 29 is built for riders who need a strong, durable boom with consistent stiffness and predictable handling. It performs exceptionally well in faster freeride and freemove conditions, delivering stability and load transfer comparable to carbon booms.

Construction and materials

The forged aluminium structure provides exceptional torsional stiffness, ensuring efficient power transfer and a stable sail profile. The 29 mm diameter offers a firm, supportive grip, making the boom suitable for powered-up sessions and larger sail sizes.

Front-end system and power transfer

The VT Joint combined with the V-Shape mast cup increases mast contact area, minimizing play and enhancing overall load transfer. The system fits SDM masts securely, and with the included RDM shim it provides a stable connection for RDM setups as well.

Adjustment and ergonomics

The optimized cleat angle allows easy outhaul adjustment while preventing accidental rope movement. The trim-pin tail system provides quick and reliable length tuning, maintaining a stiff connection between tail and boom body. The integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation both during rigging and on the water.
