Boom character

Carbon 26 E is designed to bridge the gap between the Carbon Pro line and high-end aluminium booms. It delivers performance very close to a full carbon boom, making it suitable for faster freeride and freerace sailing while maintaining a more accessible price point. The slim grip and stable structure improve control across a wide speed range.

Construction and materials

The hybrid carbon composite is produced using the same mold as the Carbon Pro 26, resulting in similar arm stiffness and immediate load transfer. The 26 mm teardrop-shaped grip fits naturally in the hands, improving comfort and reducing fatigue. The square-profile tail enhances sail stability under higher loads.

Front-end system and power transfer

The V-Shape mast cup adapts to varying mast diameters, reducing play and improving power transmission. The VT Joint increases contact area between boom and mast, resulting in a more solid connection. With the included RDM shim, the boom interfaces securely with RDM masts as well.

Adjustment and ergonomics

The loop-to-hook outhaul system keeps lines clean and prevents crossing, while the twin-pin tail mechanism allows quick, reliable length adjustment. The integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation on land and on the water. All elements work together to provide comfort, control, and efficient performance during extended sessions.
