Insulation for cold water

The XCEL Comp X Hooded 5.5/4.5mm uses TDC insulation that converts natural body heat into infrared energy, helping maintain warmth during long sessions in cold conditions. The upper interior features TDIR, adding further heat retention in areas most exposed to cold. The integrated hood provides continuous insulation around the head and neck, reducing heat loss.

Mobility despite increased thickness

The Channel Flex exterior disperses tension and reduces water absorption, keeping the suit lighter and more responsive even in winter temperatures. A one-piece front and back panel design limits seams, improves fit and supports unrestricted movement.

Durable and sealed construction

Fully sealed, triple glued and blind-stitched seams reinforced with Fusion X tape reduce flushing and improve longevity. The semi-dry zipper with magnetic closure adds extra protection against cold-water entry, while the glide-skin collar increases comfort and sealing around the neck. The Nanoprene Lite limestone neoprene maintains flexibility and resistance to compression over time.

Dope-dye yarn and water-based glue lower the environmental impact of production. Lightweight materials and refined construction ensure consistent thermal performance throughout extended cold-water sessions.
