Purpose and character
The XCEL Axis Hooded Full 5/4 mm is a men’s wetsuit designed for cold-water riding, where additional thermal protection is essential. With an integrated hood, it is well suited for windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and wingfoiling in colder and wind-exposed conditions, especially during longer sessions.
Warmth and comfort
The integrated hood helps reduce heat loss around the head and neck, improving overall thermal comfort. A ThermoLite Infrared (TDIR) chest panel supports heat retention, while the chest zip entry enhances sealing and limits water flushing.
Flexibility and fit
The 100% Performance Stretch outer material provides solid flexibility and freedom of movement, particularly important for upper-body mobility. The engineered fit allows for easier entry and ensures the wetsuit sits naturally on the body without restricting movement.
Construction and durability
Built using Ocena® foam, a bio-based, neoprene-free material, the Axis balances insulation and comfort. Triple glued and blind stitched seams, combined with reinforced Fusion X stress points, improve durability and help minimize water entry.
