This is not a standard thin neoprene vest. The XCEL Insulate-X Vest is designed as a dedicated thermal layering piece - typically worn under a wetsuit when temperatures drop and wind chill becomes an issue.
Insulation that works in the water
The Waffle Thermo Insulation lining helps retain body heat around the chest, back and neck area. Quick Dry properties reduce water retention, so you feel less chilled once you’re out of the water.
2 mm hood with bill and sealing system
The integrated 2 mm hood features a bill to help shield your face from wind and spray. The Glide Skin Face Seal and neck dam are designed to reduce water entry and flushing, while the cinch and barrel lock system allow you to fine-tune the fit depending on conditions.
Comfort under your wetsuit
Engineered Fit means a contoured cut that layers smoothly under a wetsuit without adding unnecessary bulk. Flat Seam Construction helps minimize chafing during longer sessions.
