Reinforced HD boom body
The Unifiber HD Alloy Mono Body is designed for riders who want more stiffness and durability than a standard aluminium boom body can provide.
The body is made from T8 aluminium and uses 2 mm tube walls. Compared with the Essentials range, the thicker construction reduces flex under load and improves resistance to intensive use.
The trade-off is slightly higher weight than lighter aluminium boom bodies.
Monocoque construction and improved stiffness
All versions use a Monocoque Boom Body. The continuous arm structure reduces play and improves load distribution.
The arm curves are designed to resist deflection under load, helping the boom remain more stable during powered-up sailing, gusts and higher sail loads.
140 and 160 sizes - 27 mm grip
The 140 and 160 models use a 27 mm grip diameter and C-shape geometry.
The slimmer grip sits comfortably in the hand and suits more dynamic wave, bump & jump and freeride sailing.
Both versions work with boom tails using a 22.5 mm diameter.
180 and 200 sizes - larger diameter and Tapered Body
The longer 180 and 200 models use a 29 mm grip and an enlarged rear body section with a maximum outer diameter of 33.3 mm.
This tapered construction improves stiffness over the longer body length and under higher loads, making these sizes better suited to larger freeride and freerace sails.
Compatible boom tails use a 29.1 mm diameter.
High-density EVA
High-density EVA is used on the front arch.
This area is particularly exposed to abrasion during regular use, so the more durable grip material helps improve long-term wear resistance.
Only compatible with Modular Boom Head
The body is compatible exclusively with the Unifiber Modular Configure Me Boom Head.
The modular construction allows the same boom head to be transferred between compatible bodies, making it easier to build several boom configurations without buying a complete setup each time.
Configure Me
The HD Alloy Mono Body is part of the Unifiber Configure Me system.
The boom head, body and tail can be selected and replaced separately. If one component becomes worn or damaged, there is no need to replace the complete boom.
The system is also useful when expanding a quiver or travelling, as several boom bodies can share the same compatible boom head.
