An inflatable board with impressively direct feel
The Impulse is an inflatable wing foil board built with Fusion Composite Dropstitch construction, offering a strong balance of low weight and good stiffness. A key part of the design is the long carbon plate under the standing area. It helps transfer pressure more directly to the foil and gives the board a more connected feel than a typical inflatable construction. During take-offs and first flights, that translates into better control and more predictable feedback.
Easier take-offs and softer mistakes
The Impulse has been designed to make progression easier. Extra nose rocker helps the board recover more smoothly from touchdowns and nose contacts during failed take-off attempts or early manoeuvres. The sharp PVC edge reduces drag and helps the board release from the water earlier than many standard inflatable boards. Altogether, these features make it easier to find the right rhythm and reduce frustration during the first sessions.
Two board sizes - two different approaches
The 5'4 version measures 163 cm in length, 72 cm in width and offers 110 litres of volume. It is the more compact and manoeuvrable option for riders focused purely on wing foiling. It still provides plenty of stability, but feels more agile and is easier to travel with. It is a strong choice for riders up to 110 kg and for those who want a board that stays compact once the basics are already in place.
The 6'0 version measures 183 cm in length, 76 cm in width and offers 145 litres of volume. This is the better option for complete beginners, heavier riders, or anyone looking for maximum stability in the early stages. It also features a windfoiling baseplate insert, making it a more versatile 2-in-1 option for both wing foiling and windfoiling.
Navigator - a foil that makes first flights easier
The Unifiber Navigator is a foil designed to make early flights more accessible. It offers early lift, stable behaviour and forgiving handling at lower speeds. With carbon front wings, a 75 cm aluminium mast and a well-balanced fuselage, the setup feels approachable for beginners while still offering enough performance for continued progression.
Navigator 1600 or 2000?
The Navigator 1600 is the more allround option. It still offers strong lift and support during take-off, but with a slightly more lively and versatile freeride feel. It suits heavier riders, lighter wind sessions, or anyone looking for a foil that combines easy progression with a more balanced ride.
The Navigator 2000 is tuned for the earliest possible lift and maximum low-speed stability. It is the most forgiving option in the range, making it especially suitable for learning, relaxed cruising and riders who want to get into longer, more confident flights as quickly as possible.
Easy to transport and store
One of the biggest advantages of the Impulse is convenience off the water. Once deflated, the board packs down compactly, making transport and storage much easier than with a hard board. The board comes with an ergonomic backpack, a double action pump and a repair kit. It is a practical choice for riders who travel often or simply do not have the space for a rigid board.
