Classic boom head, quick setup
The Unifiber Essentials Alloy Boom - Ergo Head combines an aluminium boom body with the Ergo Boom Head, using a classic single-hinge lever. The mechanism is simple and intuitive, making it easy to rig on the beach and make quick adjustments between sessions.
This version is a good choice for windsurfers who prefer a familiar boom head system and value straightforward operation over the maximum stiffness offered by the Modular Boom Head.
Ergo Boom Head
The Ergo Boom Head is designed around simplicity, low weight and easy handling. It is around 20% lighter than the previous generation and is one of the lighter boom heads in the Unifiber range.
The single-hinge design makes it quick to attach the boom to the mast and easy to control the clamping pressure.
RDM and SDM compatibility
RDM and SDM adapters are included. They provide the correct fit for both common mast diameters and help distribute pressure over a larger area.
This reduces point loading on the mast and provides a secure connection during regular use.
Unifiber modular system
The Ergo Boom Head is fully compatible with Unifiber Essentials, HD and Elite boom bodies. This makes it possible to use the same boom head with different compatible configurations.
It is a practical solution for riders who want to expand or change their setup over time without replacing the complete boom.
4.0 mm polyester rope
The Essentials version is supplied with 4.0 mm pre-stretched polyester rope. It provides secure fastening and is designed for regular windsurfing use.
Alternative to the Modular Boom Head
The Ergo Head focuses on easy operation, low weight and a familiar rigging system. Riders looking for maximum stiffness and the most direct power transfer between boom and mast may prefer the Modular Boom Head instead.
