The Tahe Techno 160 D is a modern windsurfing board for beginners and recreational freeriders. Its wide outline and double concave bottom make planing easy while keeping the board stable during learning. The key feature is the retractable daggerboard, which helps you maintain an upwind course effortlessly and shortens the learning curve. Built in Ace-Tec technology, the board offers a strong, lightweight, and durable construction ideal for schools, rentals, or family use.
The 160D model is optimized for lighter riders who want to progress from their first windsurfing sessions to planing and using footstraps. The included Select fin ensures smooth tracking and predictable handling, making it easy to stay in control.
The set is completed by the Unifiber Maverick II rig, a well-balanced, durable, and lightweight sail designed for beginners and intermediates. Smaller sizes (4.0–5.8) are tuned for Bump & Jump sailing, while larger ones (6.5 and 7.3) are perfect for fast freeride sessions. Each rig includes a matching mast, boom, and extension, making it fully ready to go straight out of the box.
Together, the board and rig form a complete and versatile setup that allows you to progress quickly from basic training to confident freeriding and early planing.
