The Tahe Beach D series is designed for sailing schools, rentals, and newcomers who want forgiving, durable equipment. A wide, beginner-friendly outline delivers high stability when uphauling and during first tacks and jibes. The key feature is the retractable (folding) daggerboard, which gives real upwind ability in light wind—shortening the learning curve, preventing unwanted downwind drift, and making it easy to return to your starting point.
The 185D glides readily in light wind and remains maneuverable, helping light to mid-weight riders progress quickly. The 225D increases volume and deck calmness—ideal for heavier riders, group instruction, and family sessions. A full EVA anti-slip deck pad improves comfort and grip, while integrated carry handles simplify transport on the beach.
Built in Tough-Tec (a thermoformed polyethylene shell over a waterproof polystyrene core), Beach boards are highly resistant to impacts and abrasion and hold up to season-after-season school and family use. Made in France and delivered with practical hardware, they’re ready for the water.
