The TEAM version features a full carbon layup with exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, resulting in lower swing weight, faster acceleration, and a more direct power transfer. The MTE version focuses on durability and accessibility, maintaining the same outline and hydrodynamic performance at a more affordable price point.
Across Tabou’s range, the TEAM construction is typically around 1–1.5 kg lighter than MTE, giving a livelier, more reactive feel during pumping and jumps, while MTE is praised for its strength and value — ideal for riders seeking longevity and reliability without extreme weight savings.
