Foil racing performance
Manta Foil is designed for riders focused on maximum performance across different foil racing disciplines. Its design combines early take-off with precise control at high speed and stable handling throughout the race.
The 76 and 86 are particularly focused on slalom and speed, where light handling, control in flight, and smooth jibing are essential. The Manta Foil 100 is optimized for strong upwind performance and increased lift in light wind conditions.
Compact outline and high-speed control
The Super Compact Design provides a light and neutral feel while flying. The 76 and 86 also feature a narrower tail to improve maneuverability and control at high speeds.
The compact proportions help the rider maintain precise control without unnecessary board inertia during course changes.
Large tail cut-outs
Large cut-outs in the tail reduce the wetted surface before take-off.
Reduced contact with the water supports earlier planing, quicker acceleration, and the lift required for fast take-offs onto foil. The cut-outs also reduce drag during touchdowns.
Specialized stance on the 76 and 86
The footstrap positions on the Manta Foil 76 and 86 are located further forward.
This setup is designed to increase control while flying at high speed and help the rider maintain a stable stance during fast foil slalom racing.
Lowered mast track
The Lowered Mast Track positions the rig lower in relation to the board.
This solution is designed to improve control, responsiveness, and stability across different racing situations.
Aerodynamics optimized for speed
A redesigned front V, extremely tucked-in rails in the nose, and a neutral board profile reduce aerodynamic drag while flying.
The design improves stability at high speed and helps maximize the board's top-speed potential on fast sections of the race course.
Race-oriented construction
Manta Foil uses a Super Light EPS Core combined with an Ultra Light Fiberglass Shell. The construction is additionally reinforced with Biax Fiberglass, High Density PVC Foam, and dedicated heel reinforcements.
It also features longitudinal fiberglass reinforcement, Ultra Light Carbon Innegra, and a lightweight nonskid deck finish.
Three sizes – 76, 86 and 100
The 76 and 86 are primarily aimed at foil slalom and speed, with an emphasis on control, maneuverability, and high-speed performance, while the 100 is optimized for upwind performance and lift in lighter wind conditions.
