The Mercury 6/4 is built for genuinely colder conditions, where keeping your core warm and reducing wind chill matters most. The 6/4 mm thickness layout (6 mm in the body and 4 mm in arms and legs) focuses insulation around the core while keeping better mobility in the areas that move the most.
Warmth and reduced wind chill
This suit combines FSC-certified NaturePrene2 (100% neoprene-free) with Zodiac2 plush lining and Thermal Rebound. Thermal Rebound sits between the outer layer and the inner lining, reflecting body heat back in and helping reduce wind chill - especially noticeable in stronger wind and during breaks between sessions.
Materials and wearing comfort
The outer layer uses Neolight Heather 550+, a heather fabric with extra yarns that add a softer, smoother feel and more stretch. The two-tone panel layout highlights the zones where Thermal Rebound is used. Inside, Velvet quick-dry lining paired with Zodiac2 plush improves comfort and helps the suit feel warmer again sooner after getting out of the water.
Entry system and seam sealing
A YKK Freezip front zip makes entry easy and supports a more sealed back area. Seams are triple-glued and sealed using the Fluid Taping Method, a liquid rubber sealing approach designed for durability, watertightness and high stretch.
