Characteristics
The Mercury 3/2 is Prolimit’s most versatile wetsuit concept, built to cover a wide range of cooler conditions while staying easy to move in. The 3/2 mm thickness layout (3 mm in the body and 2 mm in arms and legs) keeps essential core warmth, while maintaining comfort and mobility through shoulders, elbows and knees.
Warmth and reduced wind chill
Insulation comes from a combination of FSC-certified NaturePrene2 (100% neoprene-free), Zodiac2 plush lining, and Thermal Rebound. Thermal Rebound sits between the NaturePrene2 outer layer and the Zodiac lining, reflecting body heat back in and helping reduce wind chill - especially noticeable during breaks on the beach or in strong wind.
Materials and wearing comfort
The outer layer uses Neolight Heather 550+, a softer heather fabric with extra yarns that add stretch and a smoother, more comfortable feel. The two-tone color scheme also highlights the panels where Thermal Rebound is placed. Inside, Velvet quick-dry lining paired with Zodiac2 plush delivers a comfortable feel and faster dry time between sessions.
Entry system and seam sealing
Entry is via a YKK Freezip front zip for easy in/out and a more sealed back area. Seams are triple-glued and sealed using the Fluid Taping Method, a liquid rubber sealing approach designed to keep the seams durable, watertight and highly stretchable.
