Warm construction with TB4 Firewall
O'Neill Hyperfreak Fire 4/3+ Chest Zip Full is designed to extend sessions in cold water. The key thermal element is TB4 Firewall, which uses durable graphene-infused fibers to support heat retention and recirculation inside the wetsuit.
The construction is completed with TechnoButter 4 Neoprene and TechnoButter 4X Neoprene, providing the flexibility needed for unrestricted movement in the water.
TechnoButter 4 and TechnoButter 4X
The suit combines two TechnoButter materials. TechnoButter 4 forms the core of the construction, while TechnoButter 4X provides greater flexibility in areas where freedom of movement is especially important.
This combination helps maintain mobility while delivering the thermal protection required for colder sessions.
Extra 0.5 mm of thickness
The 4/3+ designation means the wetsuit includes an additional 0.5 mm of neoprene for extra warmth.
This provides more thermal insulation than a standard 4/3 mm construction while retaining the flexible feel of the Hyperfreak range.
Protection against flushing
The 360 Degree Anti Flush Barrier with Drainholes creates an internal barrier designed to reduce cold-water flushing. Integrated drainholes allow excess water to escape.
Super Seal Wrist & Ankle Cuffs further improve sealing around the wrists and ankles to help reduce water exchange during the session.
Sealed seams and Minimal Seam Design
The exterior uses Fluid Seam Weld, while the interior features Glued and Blind Stitched seam construction.
This combination supports sealing and durability. Minimal Seam Design reduces the overall number of panel connections, helping improve flexibility and limiting potential water entry points.
Reinforcement and practical details
The knees are protected with Recycled Krypto Armor Knee Padz, reinforcing one of the highest-wear areas of the wetsuit.
The model also features a Double Super-Seal Collar to help reduce water entry around the neck and a key pocket with a securing loop.
