O'Neill Wms Hyperfreak 4/3+ Chest Zip Full combines Recycled TechnoButter 3 and Recycled TechnoButter 3X. The liner fabrics contain at least 90% recycled fibers.
According to O'Neill, this technology is 20% lighter and absorbs 30% less water than other neoprene, helping the wetsuit stay lighter during use.
Material placement focused on mobility
Recycled TechnoButter 3 is used throughout the body and legs, while the arms and shoulders feature the more flexible Recycled TechnoButter 3X.
This material layout supports freedom of movement through the upper body and helps reduce restriction during dynamic arm movement.
F.U.Z.E. Closure and anti-flush protection
The suit features F.U.Z.E. Closure, a chest-entry system designed to provide a secure upper-body closure.
It is supported by a 360 Degree Barrier with Drain Holes, which helps reduce water entry while allowing excess water to drain out.
Minimal Seam Design reduces the overall number of panel connections, supporting flexibility and limiting potential water entry points.
Extra 0.5 mm of thickness
The 4/3+ designation means the wetsuit includes an additional 0.5 mm of neoprene for extra warmth.
This provides more thermal insulation than a standard 4/3 mm construction while maintaining the flexible feel of the Hyperfreak range.
Fully taped seams
The construction uses TB3X Fully Taped Seams, reinforcing the panel connections and helping reduce water penetration through the seams.
Aqua Alpha lamination and knee protection
The neoprene is laminated using Aqua Alpha Solvent Free Neoprene Lamination, a solvent-free lamination process.
The knees are reinforced with Krypto Armor Knee Padz, increasing durability in one of the highest-wear areas of the wetsuit
