The Hyperfreak Comp 4/3 Zipless Full combines Recycled TechnoButter 3 and Recycled TechnoButter 3X. According to O'Neill, this exclusive technology is 20% lighter and absorbs 30% less water than other premium neoprene.
The liner fabrics contain 90% or more recycled fibers, combining low weight with the flexibility required for surfing and other water sports.
Material placement focused on mobility
Recycled TechnoButter 3 is used across the chest and lower body, while the back, arms and shoulders feature the more flexible Recycled TechnoButter 3X.
This material layout supports freedom of movement through the upper body, which is especially important during paddling and dynamic arm movement.
Zipless entry
The suit uses a Zipless construction without a traditional zipper. This reduces the number of rigid elements in the upper body and helps maintain a more flexible feel.
A Double Seal Collar and 360 Degree Barrier with Drain Holes help reduce water entry, while the integrated drain holes allow excess water to escape.
Minimal Seam Design and Seamless Paddle Zones
The Minimal Seam Design reduces the number of panel connections, supporting flexibility and comfort during movement.
Seamless Paddle Zones eliminate seams from key areas involved in repetitive arm movement, helping reduce restriction during paddling.
Fully taped seams
The wetsuit features Recycled TB3X Fully Taped Seams, reinforcing the panel connections and supporting sealing performance.
The neoprene is laminated using Aqua Alpha Solvent Free Neoprene Lamination, a solvent-free lamination process.
Reinforcement and practical details
The knees are protected with Krypto Armor Knee Padz, reinforcing an area exposed to frequent wear.
The wetsuit also includes an External Key Pocket with Loop for secure key storage.
