Character and purpose

Dragonfly HD is specifically engineered for young windsurfers who want to advance in both freeride and early wave skills. Built using design principles from our pro wave range, it offers a refined profile, excellent stability and extremely low weight. For 2026, Ultra PE X-Ply has been added to the foot and clew to improve durability while reducing overall weight.

Construction and on-water behaviour

Internally printed laminated panels keep the sail light and strong. The Ultra PE X-Ply window delivers high visibility with added impact resistance. The Taffeta luff panel increases stitch holding strength and distributes loads effectively in the most stressed area of the sail. Dragonfly HD reacts instantly to rider input and stays neutral and manageable even for lighter sailors.

Stability and control

The 3 batten layout gives the best possible weight-to-stability ratio. The profile remains predictable and easy to depower during maneuvers, helping young sailors maintain control. The sail planes early, waterstarts easily and stays balanced in small to medium waves.
