Stability and Durability
The Apex HD features Power HD Technology in the foot and clew areas. Ultra-PE yarns are precisely aligned along the sail's primary load paths, ensuring direct power transfer, exceptional durability, and razor-sharp control.
The X-Ply window provides additional resistance to damage while helping maintain a lightweight construction. As a result, the Apex HD remains agile and easy to handle despite the extra reinforcement associated with its Heavy Duty design.
4- and 5-Batten Layout
The Apex features a size-specific batten configuration, carefully designed to achieve the optimal balance between maneuverability, power, and stability.
- 4 battens in sizes 3.6–5.1 m² – maximum maneuverability, lightweight handling, and instant response during maneuvers and jumps
- 5 battens in sizes 5.5–6.3 m² – increased profile stability, greater control, and efficient power delivery in larger sail sizes
