ATEC 27 replaces the popular X-AS model and is built for windsurfers of all levels. It combines durability, comfort, and affordability, while incorporating several components found in higher-tier booms. The result is dependable performance for recreational freeride as well as more dynamic sessions.

Construction and materials

The monocoque aluminium structure increases stiffness and durability compared to traditional aluminium designs. The 27 mm tube diameter offers a stable, ergonomic grip, and the refined construction improves sail stability and predictable handling on the water.

Front-end system and power transfer

The VT Joint together with the V-shaped mast cup provides increased contact area and minimizes play in the connection, improving load transfer and maintaining a solid interface with the mast. It fits SDM masts securely, and with the included RDM shim it adapts safely to RDM setups.

Adjustment and ergonomics

The optimized cleat angle makes outhaul adjustments easier while preventing accidental rope slip. The trim-pin tail system allows quick length tuning and ensures a stiff connection between tail and boom body. The integrated boom lever simplifies front-end operation both on land and during on-water adjustments.
